data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La obra es un Cristo Resucitado, creado con la idea de ser un llamado a la paz del mundo, conocido como \u201cla gran obra del pueblo de Tupungato\u201d. Fue iniciado por una Asociaci\u00f3n Civil Cristo Rey del Valle de Tupungato (Personer\u00eda Jur\u00eddica N\u00ba 1224\/2004) formada por destacados miembros de la comunidad tupungatina. El sacerdote P. Eduardo L\u00f3pez, quien tuvo la idea de construir este monumento, form\u00f3 parte de esta asociaci\u00f3n civil.<br \/>El monumento escult\u00f3rico, dise\u00f1ado por el artista Lahir Ser\u00fa, est\u00e1 emplazado a 1.300 msnm (metros sobre el nivel del mar), tiene una altura de 28 metros, desde la base con un peso de 30 toneladas.<br \/>Consta de una estructura met\u00e1lica revestida, la figura de Cristo Resucitado mira hacia la ciudad de Tupungato y en ella se destacan los brazos abiertos y el coraz\u00f3n divino que representa el amor. Inicialmente el proyecto estuvo dividido en etapas, en las que se incluir\u00edan distintos sectores: religioso, tur\u00edstico, deportivo, art\u00edsticos, etc.<\/p><p>Actualmente el predio cuenta con el V\u00eda Crucis conformado por 14 estaciones (que se construy\u00f3 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de la inauguraci\u00f3n, siendo cada estaci\u00f3n donada por vecinos de Tupungato), que parte desde la base del cerro donde se encuentra una imagen de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Olivo, donada en el a\u00f1o 2007 por la Cofrad\u00eda de la Virgen del Olivo de Mendoza. En la zona alta, se encuentra una casa, el estacionamiento y miradores con bancos. <br \/>La forestaci\u00f3n del predio respeta la flora aut\u00f3ctona y los olivares se implantaron con una impronta religiosa y es llamado \u201cHuerto de los Olivos\u201d. En las inmediaciones (zona baja) se encuentra una \u201cramada\u201d lugar de reuni\u00f3n de las agrupaciones gauchas que desde el a\u00f1o 2013 realizan la \u201cCabalgata al Cristo Rey\u201d en el mes de noviembre y en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han construido churrasqueras para los turistas y
